Atrocious' OL2.0 minimal HUD (1.0) - File Description  


Description:
I thought I could share my current OL2.0 HUD, because I really like it and it makes the game even more exciting in my opinion. Of course this is not everyone's taste. You're not forced to use it. What it changes:

REMOVES THE MINI-MAP
-> Makes the game more thrilling, when enemies are around - or even when they are not around.
-> You will still have the audio and visual detection bars. They moved close to the health and armor bars. Of course, they only show up when you are seen by enemies or making noise.
-> To see the locations of stashes, you'll have to open your PDA - like it would be in reality.

REMOVES THE EXO-SHAPED ICON
-> I removed the icon on the upper left, that is on the hud when wearing an exo suit. Look at the second screenshot, if you don't know which icon I mean. Sorry, if I missed the reason for that icon's existence.
-> The gas-mask huds can still be activated/deactivated with the AMK options.

REMOVES THE PDA ICON
-> although the PDA icon in Oblivion Lost 2.0 was already very small, I removed it completely.

BRINGS BACK THE AMMO ICONS
-> I like the ammo icons, because they show pretty fast, what ammo you are using. Although the icon is placed at a very unconventional spot now (bit off the frame), I like it a lot.

FIXED ...
... a microscopic HUD error, that you could only notice if you have eagle vision - like me. stick out tongue

This mod does not change the wide-screen version! The radar and hud icons won't be changed - but the exo icon would still be removed.


Installation
============
Copy the gamedata folder into your STALKER directory and overwrite the exiting files.


Uninstallation
==============
Extract the following files from the original OL2.0 archive into the folder
gamedataconfigui
maingame.xml
motion_icon.xml
ui_hud.xml
zone_map.xml


Extract the following file from the original OL2.0 archive into the folder
gamedatatexturesamk
hud_exo.dds
