Call of Pripyat Reloaded (Version 0.7) - File Description

A lot of new features this last month, including a script modification (thanks to Smurth) which forces the main character to holster its weapon for 2 seconds when using medpacks or drugs. New side effects have also been added to the medication. I also tweaked the A.I. Additions mod that, in addition to drastically improving the A.I., allows NPC's to use grenade launchers, to choose their weapons depending on engagement ranges, or even to go on melee attack, knife on. NPC's can alose knock you out, steal your weapon, manage their own backpack, go stealth, cover themselves,... Finally, I made some slight adjustments in order to fix a few remaining bugs form the Vanilla game (mostly with wide-screen textures). And I also added specific scopes for sniper rifles.

As you can see this mod changes quiet a bit (and weighs in at over 1 GB), 56k'ers need not apply.

This mod changes a lot about the vanilla game, from textures to weapons, AI to damage. There isn't much it doesn't do. See the readme for full details!

S.T.A.L.K.E.R Call Of Pripyat Reloaded - 0.7

¤ Retail users:

1.) Navigate to Call Of Pripyat Directory (default XP: C:Program FilesBitcomposer GamesS.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Call Of Pripyat)

2.) Extract the gamedata folder To the Call Of Pripyat directory.

¤ STEAM users:

1.) Your stalker game folder should be located in C:Program FilesValveSteamSteamAppscommonstalker Call Of Pripyat.

2.) Go to this folder and install as described above.

What is the performance hit with this mod ?
This can vary depending on the machine/system. Some people report increase of framerate of about 10% some report FPS drop.

Just wanted to say a good mod but one thing wrong though the scope and bullet don't line up on the SDV the bullet fires out to the left of the cross-hair where the black and orange line meet. ( all others are OK )

apart from that the mod sounds are excellent and textures look better and the inventory icons could do with updating like the ones in p.r.i.p.y.a.t.a.n._a.r.m.s

I have had no issues so far with this mod, been usin it on and off for a little now. my only prob though (which is completely on personal preference) is I would've loved to see more in the way of weapons.

Hi again
i've now gone through the game mod and now as an up-date to the scope and bullet line up is out only on the SDV, SVU and the GAUSS rifles they all shoot to the left of cross hairs all other scopes are ok.

and to add comment to a previous player (sydious) if you are going to change a lot in a came via a mod then give a more better choice of weapons as in other mods.

great mod. i posted a couple of suggestions on moddb but i dont know how often you are on there.......

first off, i LOVE the weapon stealing script. although i died the first couple of times since i was running around looking on the ground for it. smile i also like the concept of the weapon sheathing while healing although its so short i dont even notice it. maybe make it a tad bit longer.

any chance of having dynamic huds optional......especially the one from pripyatan which has breathing effects. increases the immersion a lot.

there is a mod called "wear your damn helmet" i forgot how silly the character looks in cutscenes with his helmet off. not a huge deal but its a nice touch.

i noticed there were no sleeping bags.......was this a design decision. im just curious cause the other mods have them in. ive rarely used them myself.

the sprint speed is a bit high. i can outrun all of the mutants very easily and ive only been hit by them a couple times at most.

any chance of getting rid of that annoying weapon restriction zone......its weird having to run out past mutants just to unsheath your weapon and turn around.

zombies in one of the other mods had their health dramatically upped and made it so that you could only easily kill them with head shots. makes them more fun to fight against as now they are way to easy.

may i suggest dramatically increasing the damage from anomalies. once you get a semi-decent suit its easy to just streak through all but the electrical anomalies and get artifacts. its more fun when you have to use your bolts and take your time.

so far im having a blast. im having random crashes every once in a while but its only after 40 minutes or more of gameplay. keep up the great work. smile

im getting a repeatable crash when i try and get the detectors from owl. its definitely something to do with the quest cause i can run around and shoot mutants, but for some reason as soon as i get near owl it freezes up and crashes.

i solved the problem with the scopes now. You have to go to the following direction
Cstick out tonguerogram Files (x86)bitComposer GamesS.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Call Of PripyatGamedataconfigsuitextures_descr
and open the "xml" file with notepad (ui_ingeme) and now search for (file name="wpnwpn_crosshair_sniper) and change in the row below by (x="0"wink to (x="200"wink
