Desert Fox's H&K G3 FIX (1.1) - File Description  


Description:
This mini-mod adds the H&K G3 to the game. It can be found in a stash in the Army Warehouses, the coordinates for the stash can be found off mercs (there's a little story behind the weapon).

Note: THIS CAN ONLY BE USED WITH STALKER COMPLETE 2009 AND THE REALISTIC WEAPONS ADD-ON OR THE STALKER RE-ANIMATION PROJECT!

Desert Fox's H&K G3 FIX (1.1) - Readme  
Readme File:
This mini-mod adds the H&K G3 to the game. It can be found in a stash in the Army Warehouses, the coordinates for the stash can be found off mercs (there's a little story behind the weapon).

To install, just move the gamedata folder in "Required" into your STALKER directory. If Windows asks you to overwrite any files, click "yes".

The "Optional" folder simply includes a different SUSAT scope reticule. Move that gamedata folder into your STALKER directory after installing the required files, if you want it.

I overlooked one config file in the initial release, which would have caused the game to crash on startup. Everything should be fine now.

I did not make this. This is simply a port of the G3 from LURK 1.1 to STALKER Complete 2009 Realistic Weapons/Re-Animation Project.


Note: THIS CAN ONLY BE USED WITH STALKER COMPLETE 2009 AND THE REALISTIC WEAPONS ADD-ON OR THE STALKER RE-ANIMATION PROJECT!

I have only tested it on Complete w/Realistic Weapons, but said add-on for it includes the ReAnim Project, so I assume there won't be problems.

If there are any problems, let me know. I've played for some time with the G3 and have ironed out just about all the bugs, but it's possible that I overlooked something.

And yes, I know there's no inventory icon. I don't know how to pull the G3 icon out of the LURK inventory textures and port it, sorry. If anyone knows how to, and wants to, be my guest.


H&K G3 mod by The_Desert_Fox on STALKER FileFront, the main LURK mod that the weapon was ported from by holdenmcclure on ModDB.
