Description:
Stalker is one of the most immersive games I've ever played; the atmosphere is just incredible, especially after extensive modding.

Sadly, the blood spatters from the vanilla version are a joke, and other blood mods are either too over-the-top, or still unrealistic.

Here's my take on how blood and guts should look when splattered all over the walls and floor. smile

STALKER Real Gore Mod beta for patch 1.0005

To Install:

--Just copy the gamedata folder into your STALKER directory.

--Please make sure the second line of fsgame.ltx in the STALKER directory reads:

$game_data$ = true| true| $fs_root$| gamedata


--Note: this mod was made for patch 1.0005.

system.ltx will cause a CTD if used for any other patch.

Features:

1. Real "wet" blood marks.
2. Chunks of gore mixed in with blood from exit wounds.
3. Blood color is now more realistic.
4. Blood puff is now more misty and realistic.


Bonus:

1. Fixed alpha channel of knife mark on stone.
--during testing I saw that there was something wrong with the knife mark's alpha channel.


Plans for v1.0:

1. Even More realistic textures.
2. Enhanced particle effects for a larger, more dissipated cloud of blood mist.
3. Greater variety of gore. :)
