Overall Rating: 9 | Description: Unless you have been living under a rock you have heard of the Oblivion Lost mod by the OLP Team (Kanyhalos, Siro, Darius6 Barin, Dezodor). They have been hard at work creating one of the most ambitious mods out there today.
This mod aims to bring Shadow of Chernobyl back to its original "Oblivion Lost" roots and adds in some of the gameplay features we STALKER fans have longed for, like FREEPLAY (explore the zone after the final NPP mission), improved A-Life, and so much more!!!

FREEPLAY

- Added realistic head-bobbing to the actor when he is heavily wounded
- Well-balanced armor degradation
- The crosshair is reduced to a dot
- Reduced HUD and removed NPC counter
STEALTH
- The NPC's can't notice the actor during night if his flashlight is turned off
- If the actor turns on the flashlight, then his enemies spot him immediatelly
- Reduced the sound volume of the Knife, now it's a dangerous and invisible weapon during night, presumably the NPC's won't notice the actor if he is smart enough
WEATHER
- There are 24 hours cycle weathers in all levels
- The night is dark and scary
- Restored the Sun and the Moon
- Atmospheric sky textures
BLOWOUT
- The blowout is totally random, you never know that when it will start
- The blowout spawns mutants and artifacts in random places
- The NPC's are falling down when the blowout starts, and they stunned to the ground when it explodes, also the actor is slowered and has got some minor effectors
- The blowout is dark at night and shiny at daylight
- If the weather is rainy, then the blowout increases the intensity of the rain, the thunders and the wind
MUTANTS
- Added all cutout mutants (Dwarf, Chimera, Cat, Zombie, Izlom)
- They have got so many different types of skins
- Added the Psy Dog as a new mutant (with attack effector)
- Two boss enemy characters (Burer and Koshei) - you can kill them with special methods
VEHICLES
- Added all drivable vehicles (Niva, Zaz, Kamaz, Tractor, UAZ, BTR, Moskvich)
- The vehicles aren't floating
- Well-balanced driving properties
- Added realistic engine and gear sounds to the UAZ
ARTIFACT ACTIVATION
- This is a method of transforming the artifacts created by an anomaly back to the anomaly they were originally created in

What's this?
This mod wants to get closer to the old Oblivion Lost, and give the best performance what is possible, with using the 3 best mod features:
Total Freeplay, Modified A-Life, and Reality Enhancement.
It is recommended to play in HELL difficulty!
This mod works properly only with 1.0004 or 1.0005 patch! The default is 1.0005!
FEATURES:
FREEPLAY

How to install?
1. First you should edit the fsgame.ltx and at the gamedata line change both variables to true (one of them is already true)
2. Copy the content of the package to your Stalker gamedir (if you don't have a gamedata folder, don't worry, this mod will create it)
3. I recommend to use the Smart Mod Manager to install the mod and the patches!
4. Read this info!
5. Start a new game, and enjoy!

Important Controls:

You can enter the vehicles with "F" button, and Turn on the Engine with a button what you set in the options/controls menu.
If you enter the BTR with "F" button, press the "L" button to open the windows.

Important issues:

If you enter Pripyat after the Brain Scorcher mission, you meet the loner stalkers.
You must follow them to the underground car park. After this you must go to the stadium. You must enter the stadium in its main gate to reach this quest: "Find entrance to the Sarcophagus". If you won't complete this quest the game will CTD when you return to Pripyat from the NPP, so first time don't use the small side gates to reach the power plant!
So I say it again you must use the main gate first time:

The last portal in the NPP Stancia2 teleports the actor to the court where you can meet the main boss enemy.
And you can go back to the previous levels, you can see the positions of the level changers on the PDA Map.
The game is open-ended, so you can forget about the "Game Over"
If you want to play this mod in russian language, then please download the russian localization patch!
This mod is designed for 1.0005 by default, but it's compatible with 1.0004, too!
If you want to play it under 1.0004, then please install the OL1.0004 patch!
If you are playing the mod under 1.0004 yet, and you changed your mind, and you want to play it under 1.0005, then please install the OL1.0005 patch, but presumably your saved games won't work!

I am playing v.1.21 of this mod and I see there are a few changes, but it is substantially the same. Good mod which brings new life back into the game for a replay. Lots of well-balanced new stuff which makes the game more fun than ever... Great Work guys!
I played an earlier version of this mod. It still had the "Burer" boss. That was quite possibly the stupidest thing I had ever seen. It's like they didn't even bother modifying the AI of the new monsters at all, he just ran around in circles like an idiot. If I could just remove the new monsters this mod would be fine.
Does this work with 1.0005?

This is a geat mod indeed - it has been my gampelay standard from v1.0 upwards. It's curious that it has made here so late - but since it has - everyone download ASAP

That's a VERY EASY way to kill Burer, the dwarf leader! You can kill him with Artifact Activation only! He is immune to bullets and shrapnels, only the anomalies can hurt him! That's your bad if you couldn't kill him. Put an artifact to the pistol slot, hold on the attack button until the artifact activates, and it will create an anomaly in the ground! Set an anomaly trap for Burer, that's very easy!
And also I don't understand you why is that good for you being a jerk. Idiotism?

Very nice mod from what I have seen so far BUT I have one problem which stops me from progressing. I can save without any problems, but when I try to load a game it gets to the Client: Synchronizing bit, and then the game exits and the bugtrap thing comes up. Any ideas?
Ozain: Sounds like you're playing with the wrong patch version.
The savegames are going to get corrputed that way.
Open up system.ltx and check this line:

For 1.0004 this value should be 6, and for 1.0005 it should be 7.
Not what I had expected. This is vanilla stalker with hints of other mods. A-life comes to mind, so does ALive 1.7. It has the Stalker sound overhaul and some other things, but mostly, its not very good. I got to Bar on Hell mode. The mutants... there's too many. There's no point in rescuing Tolik cause a good 10 cats and 5 boars attack and chase you all the way back to the rookie camp. All the spoken dialogue is in Russian, too. Anyway, the mutants are seriously over powered. Realistic? Yeah. In some ways. Having a wild cat kill you in a couple swipes is realistic, shooting them with 40 bullets to make them die is not.
The weapons are dead accurate, and enemies can snipe you with pistols. You can jump a good five feet in the air, and can leap like a kangaroo. Bandits now wear Stalker uniforms, and their outfits vary. BAD IDEA. The Traders sell nothing, and I never liked this.
Overall, its a good idea. But like with Faiakes with Alife 4.2 extended, it sucks in execution.
Also, lets cover a few things. Boss battles are a bad idea. Always.
Changing the artifact system, in ANY way, is a bad idea. I love changing their values to more acceptable ones. Not being able to use any artifacts until you get a fireball in Agroprom stinks. I don't want them to have magic powers, be weapons or teleport Pepsi into the room though.
Blowouts are nothing but annoying. Oh my goodness help, the screen is shaking and people are falling over! I must get into cover, or guzzle 40 bottles of Vodka to escape! Radiation at that level would seep through walls.
And thats my two cents.
And like Alife, it has bugs. Petrutha, Wolf, Fox, Mole--They all walk aimlessly around and mostly, they DIE. This makes completing missions impossible, and crashes the entire game.
hmmm, I think that you're being over-critical at some points - of course only those, that are not the matter of pure taste:
1. why do you think that you are unalble to use atfiacts untill agroprom and some anti-radaition artifacts? It is sometimes good idea to use Stone Blood or other 'healing' artifacts - when you are wounded adn do not want to use-up your medkit stock at the beggining of the game.
2. jumping height may seem unrealistic - but it ads A LOT to the possibilities of exploring. It annoyed me so badly in vanilla Stalker that there where A LOT of places where just an inch to tall to reach
3. consider changing your approach to Stalker when paling OLP - stop considering it a set of following story-related quest, and start looking at it - as on the open 'world' ready for you to explore and enjoy. Story quests - are fun to make from time to time but they are not crucial in this style of gameplay.
4.connceted with above - if you see a pack of mutants and know that you will have to put 30 bullets in everyone of them it while you have only Makrov, maybe it is a good idea to actually RUN This is really fun that game actually forces you to make a decision - wheter you're equiped enought to fight or you should to back off.
5. entire game does NOT crash beacuse of the death of some named and known characters. What is Wolf different from any other veteran loner - he has he's gun and armor, if he can survive - than you will meet him at the Warehouses, but if he dies shoot by soldiers during the sweap or gets killed by some dogs - it's his problem The game get's random and fresh thanks to this.
Kany, relax. Remember, you can't please everyone. Quite honestly, who cares if someone doesn't like it? If they dislike the mod, they won't download it and it will be of no real loss to your team. I like it. It's what vanilla STALKER should have been.
I do have a question, though. Is this the version of the mod where you planned on changing around the levels so the NPP is in the center of the game world, or is that a future version?
No. That's a future version. We will make it with dezodor. Also I'm planning a compilation with AMK1.4 when it will be released in english language.
Of course I will continue developing the simple OL, that will be just an interesting part of my palette. Also we are planning to add new SP levels, for example the old forgotten ones; Dead City, DarkScape, Swamp, Desolated Village, etc.
Well, honestly I'm not sure about that what will be happen at the moment, maybe it will be based on Clear Sky. I don't know exactly what will be inculded in Clear Sky, but there's a problem; GSC don't planning to add Pripyat to their next game, only the underground one, and I think it's horrible, Pripyat is one of my favourite levels.
Well, if GSC won't place Pripyat on the CS map, then we will add it to the game!
what about the factions?

As I know the NPP will be included in Clear Sky. But it seems GSC don't want to give us any screenshots about the Plant, I don't know why, but I have a bad feeling about that. Well, if GSC won't make a good job on CS, then I will make on it.

Well done OLP team, this is the mod, I ever wanted, because it is already a Stalker, and not a totally rebuilded s*it, like faiakes or abc... It adds things that is in the original project, but the gsc not added it to the final. I think this mod is much much better then faiakes or abc.

And Kanyhalos, I think it's wrong to mislead people with speculations. There's not official word that Pripyat will be completely excluded with ONLY the underground. We don't know that for sure, just saying.
This is a great Mod, I cant believe I waited this long to try it. Had a blast running the soldiers over in the BTR. The only thing I would change at all is the Duration of the blow out, I usually just find a shelter and take a nap during it. The bandages and medkits change takes some getting used to, so be sure to save often.
Perhaps I was being too harsh. There's only TWO things I would like changed though, mind telling me how?
1: I want old Bandit skins back. No, not cause I like to play the game easy. I play with NO hud, at all. Telling the difference between stalkers and bandits is impossible until its too late.
2: Less jumping. Mainly because I dive for cover in combat, and sprint. I like to move in firefights. Jumping like a kangaroo kills it for me. What files do I edit to make jumping back to normal?
I was too harsh last night. This is a good mod, but it does need some tweaking for my tastes by myself. I love the Izloms and brand new monsters. The labs are really spooky now. All I need are those two things, and I'm set.
Oh and is it safe to put new textures into this mod? With my old gamedata folder I have tons of reskins of items, weapons and people. Of course I won't move over the weather one. But is it cool to do this? Will it break the mod?
OK now, i would test this mod if i only could.
I have 1.0005 patch and i done everything from the readme. So why the game crash ??? i am running the game and after few seconds game crash, Is this mod only for english, russian version or other versions can run it but without the text and dialogs?

I personally feel this is more fitting to the atmosphere of Stalker than the other "super" mods out there.
Nice work guys, can't wait to see the added in levels if you get them working. Just a thought, make the Dead City a Merc base. It seems from the stuff left in game archives this was the original idea (the Merc outpost in Army Warehouses is guarding one of the entrances to the dead city). I think there may have originally been another entrance in Yantar.

There is no chance to reduce a duration of blowout, because it's totally random. The blowout script is always running on the background.

Sorry but removing the bandit skins is very difficult, but I can give an easy way.
Find texturesact folder, you will see some bandit#.dds files.
Overwrite all bandit skins with the original, you can't delete them, because the custom models need them.
Less jumping: open actor.ltx, and change the jump_speed to 6

Apologize huh? You must be new to the internet, maybe I should emphasize this more, I really like your mod. In the earlier version I played though artifact traps were not in the game, and it required explosives to kill it. The AI for it was undoubtedly terrible for it as well, it just ran around in circles and wouldn't acknowledge my presence even when I knifed him. Judging from the grammar in the sentence you used to insuly me I'm guessing english is your second language. "Idiotism" is not a word either, before you insult a persons intellect you should at least not maul the sentence. I will once again say I REALLY like your mod, I was really just applying constructive critizism (I don't believe I spelled that right ).
But... im not done with the old version yet lol.

To answer your comment the easiest way possible; if CS is as playable as STALKER was in the beginning I won't bother to get it. I expect VERY much from CS. And if CS turns out to be as *****ty as STALKER was when it was released... then GSC have totally disappointed me, and many others.
However, from the screenshots and gameplay videos I have seen it seems psomising enough to at least give it a shot. Although I do hope they include the NPP as well. And Pripyat for that matter.

I don't want to speculate on what will be in Clear Sky, we will see it when it will be released. We have shadow of chernobyl and we customize it to fit in to our tastes.
Well, I have some bad feelings about Clear Sky, I hope it won't be a vaporware like SHOC was.
hey i had a question(a non insulting question lol), is there a way to change the shaking of the weapon when zoomed in, it shakes alot, and i know its realistic but it annoys me lol. unlike some people here i actually appreciate your work. good job OLP team!
I love yoyr mod but it crashing (a lot) to desktop. I running the 1.0004 & the patch and I'm up to the yanter mission. I get graphic glicths and then it ctd. I can play the unmodded stalker for hours on my rig with no problem, so this is wierd and dissapointing becase this is definitley a first class mod. BTW I used the installer for the mod and the patch. So any help will be greatfuly accepted.
i think CS will be s**t , without SDK... hahaha just kidding. but i wish sdk was there.
What constitutes shelter against the blowout? Every time it happens I get fried, even hiding in Sidorovichs bunker. Plus simply having all the stalkers fall over themselves repeatedly is rather dim (I don'y mean to be rude but surely they'd all be killed on the spot right? I guess it's really hard to get them to do something intelligent like take cover themselves otherwise you'd have done it.

where to get cars by the way? why no much guns to buy from traders? why cant hide from blowouts? all else is almost cool... i wanted something like this... to make Stalker: Shadow Of Chernobyl to Stalker: Oblivion Lost

how do you activate the artifacts?

i keep getting ejected from the game when im at the first boss battle (the dwarf). What is causing this?
i have encoutered problems when i upgraded this mod and stalker to v1.05 i was running it with the 1.04 patch and when i installed the 1.05 patch it crashed every time i loaded the game. im running it in english and used the smartmod manager. any ideas what im doing wrong.

Your Oblivion Lost TC/Mod is amazing. You have done an amazing job, by taking an already great game (From what I have heard that is, as I have NOT yet played through the game from start to finish) and then made it even better. So far I have played just over 3 hours with the TC/Mod installed & I have had zero problems. I just wish my PC was fast enough to be able to crank the settings up to Maximum. Sadly, i'm stuck on medium. From what I have seen so far with your work, I am eager to see what you come up with next.

ok i have finally got round to trying this and dont get me wrong i dont mean to be offensive but this mod needs work
my problems with this are
1. The gun fights are way to unrealistic it took about 15 shots to kill a bandit at close range
2. The guns would never be that unaccurate at that range i was like 3 foot away from a bandit aiming at his head through the sight i shot and the bullet went about a meter to his left WTF
im am sorry if this comes across as offensive in anyway i am just trying to say what could be fixed in opinion
i will stick to priboi for the time being (which is an awesome mod by the way) and i will wait till a new version or a fix for the ballistics is made as of now it is to unrealistic

The most intertesting thing in this mod was the new adding flares, blowout waves, Alife and the FreePlay ( always asking people how too ONLY isolate this FreePlay mod part... no one gives a damm i think... ). Also the menu was a kicking image nice work.
Unfortunalty my new pc with the Nvidia 8800 will only be ready next month so iam still playing with a 6800... meaning, Maximum Graphics and Static lightning, Ureyy !!

its annoying after a while playing in static lightning, the graphics are still in maximum, but the sky and dynamic lights are off so the Sky looks a little dead to me, but with this mod the new flares from the Sun and Moon and the custom weather integrated with those flares gave a new feel to people who play in static.
And thats one of my requests to you OLP team, i wanted to integrate the flares with my own weather ( using a custom made weather LTX by the Weather Overhauled 2.0 mod Part 1 and 2 modified by me especialy for static lightning players, adding dense and dynamic fog, better effects and light, shadows etc )
Having a little dificulty, i dont consider my self a Pro modder but i can do a thing or 2. Anyway i would like to get some advices from ya guys, already tried to mix the flares ( The flares Ltx, the Fx textures, altered the weather Ltx etc.. ) inside my mod Dir but no good =S they dont seem to work. Could you guys help me ?
My other 2 requests are how to integrate the "freeplay" mod part and Alife ONLY. As a good mod always brings tons of stuff, sometimes things that i dont need or dont like... I like the ideia of passing the game the times you want with only one way new game. Also the new Alife brings a new feel to the game, diferent ( new mutants, new spawns, more dificulty etc.. ).
I use also custom textures, Shaders, sounds, scripts, cntgs etc, all picked and modified by me. Just think as a uge mod mixed xD.
Another problem am having is my custom sound selection, i think Stalker didnt use the full potencial of Stealth and some times Silencers are sometimes worthless using them... for exmple being 100m from a guy, firing a Tr 100 ( the m4 carabine alike ) silently and the guy still hears me, Maybe its the sounds themselfes causing trouble... also i like very much your Silencers sound but i dont seem to find the correct OGG sound file of them.
Sorry for asking so much, i amuze myselfe modifing other people mods and mixing them up from my use only, if you guys could help me, i would really apreciate the move. If not, ohh well, but still nice mod you guys got there, keep up the good work.

Sorry for double post, and for the long one previously.
Nevermind the sound problem, ive fixed it, found the silencer's OGG sound files and altered the wepons Ltx with the corresponding sound files.
But i would really want to know how to streach the Freeplay part from the mod itself, just the needed files to have freeplay in my own mod.

you will need to edit the spawn - > decompile it and copy the level changers to your decompiled spawn, then recompile it, and also add the story ids to the level taks script to make level changer icons and to the game story ids.ltx file to make the stuff work. you may place the new stuff to lua.script too but not needed.

i installed this mod correctly but everytime i play after about 5 min the game hard crashes and i have to reboot my computer. i been playing this game since its release and never had problems like this. im patched to v4 and correctly installed teh correct version of this mod. so any ideas???

i noticed that too then i patched to 1.0005 and everything is great i played all the way through twice already
The mods awesome, but theres one problem I have, the blowouts seem to never end,
And I never survive one, so I have to reload my game whenever a blowout wave starts.

Ok, I have played through the entire game with this mod and I have discovered 3 crucial bugs that might interest the OLP Team.
1. In the military complex area (Freedom base) after blowouts occur a bunch of new mutants spawn in the area (most noticeably inside the Freedom base) however theres another area in which the mutants begin to flood the entire playing area. It's situated at the ENTRANCE of the area (Duty Base to Freedom Base). I found myself killing hundreds of zombies and a handful of mutants. So when I made the transition from one area to another, I spawned right on top of an army of mutants.
2. In Pripyat when you embark with the Duty Stalkers to attempt a push to the NPP the game will crash when you and your fellow Stalkers arrive at the underground car lot. It occurs when a specific member of the group dies (the one that gave the speech at the start of the area) inside the car lot during the final skirmish between the Monolith. To avoid this crash, you must be sure to keep that particular Duty Stalker alive.
3. I've just uncovered this bug 10 minutes ago when I was attempting the "good ending" of the game. When you destroy all of the blue conductors that surround the C-Consciousness representative the game will crash.
I hope I helped you in the search of perfecting this mod, and I would like to add that I really enjoyed it.

I love this mod so much, but i seriously hate the stupid dot used as the aiming reticule, come on guys! As if the mod was not hard enough (when in hell mode) !!! Could you put an option to put it back to the original or please tell me how to change it. Or maybe if you put it bright green, cause grey aint worth shizen... Haboo styre ejoo, dize stoa beejy!!!
Oh yeah one more thing, peach kaka hoetha!!! lol, i love this game to death, if someone speaks russian or ukrainian you should make a mod that translate some of the cool stuff thats said when you approach someone armed, that would be the shiites. Love the language!
Ok now explain to me what "Speacil Methods" you have to use to kill the Burer guy, i shot him 1068 times with my AK74 THEN i shot him 219 times with my Baretta 9mm and he STILL DIDNT DIE!! is this a glitch, or what cuz im gettin annoyed with this jerk fire blasting me 
I'm beginning to love this mod after previous hate. I got used to the bandit skins. But, one skin that HAS to go is the Stalker skin. Rookie skins are fine. The space man Stalker outfits NEED to go. Now.
I'm not even going to continue playing until the hilarious suits go away. It was like the polka Sid oufit in a previous mod I played. How do I get rid of these terribly out of place skins?

Apparently that last bug occurs when your shooting the conductors from the doorway (I know, I'm cheap).

Hey, I'm liking this but a few questions,
1. Do you alter the max carry weight to be above the default 75 kg? I normally use 350 kg, modded user.ltx file.
2. Do you add "unique" weapons or armor suits?
3. Can you pimp weapons with scopes and silencers like in Faiakies mod?
4. Are there any FreePlay elements to the mod, like keep playing after the WishGranter?

first off this mod kicks ass, ok this isn't the S.T.A.L.K.E.R way it should be ( neither is vanilla ). however there one thing I'd like to point out. actors head is moving around way too wildly ( esp. when running ( not sprinting ) ). so what I file should I edit in order to default those settings.
In short: good mod, but how I remove the bounciness when moving.

The mod was great except for the mutants. I'd really like to see you tone down the health, because frankly I'm not very good at games. I really hope you set the health on the enemies lower so its more realistic. I enjoy killing creatures in just a few shots, not wasting clip after clip uselessly to try... 
Haven't played this mod yet, downloading it now but I noticed you can trade all items with NPC's, I modded my game so it could do this and I found the problem that if you trade them a weapon that is 'weaker' than the one they have they will just drop it, so you can pick it up again and keep doing this to get money, does it happen on this mod? or have you fixed it?
Hi i have just stated downloading and it looks fantastic ( just how stalker should be) but the explorer download thing said it was a unknown file type because i use winrar and i dont know if it will work or i must just be being stupid but any feed back would be great
hi have found the unzipper for a 7z file wot eva that is but it would be nice if it was metioned in the read me or somthing the the file type is not compatible with winrar and so on
with max gfx settings, roads look all white or way too bright when sun shines ( hdr ) and it applies to vehicles and other metal objects, guns, granades, concrete blocks etc. nights looks dark as they should . very annoying
zombies and dogs are sometimes (agroprom) "friends" to you, although they attack you normally.
rain has sound effects, yeah thunder and lighting works, but rain drops don't seem to make any noise.
anyone know how remove that head bobbing ( head waving around when running or sprinting )

There was a massive Army raid in Cordon. ALL Loners are dead. I'm camping there, then I ventured out. Fought the remaining Army soldiers and killed them all. Then I ran around killing dogs for their tails. Then I noticed something... nothing is coming back.
So I slept for 24 hours, and nothing came back. I went to Bar and Dark Valley for a little while, and went back. Nothing there. This is beginning to happen in all territories too. There are no more dogs, fractures and boars. They are simply GONE. Bandits are gone besides in Dark Valley, and Mercs are no where to be seen.
When things die, they don't respawn. I need help before the world becomes a ghost town.
I HAVE BEGUN TO SEE THE SAME PROBLEM AS SNIPER JOHNNY the bar is now a ghost town thanks to monolith and so is cordon 
Ok, now this is unplayable. The entire Zone except the Bar is deserted. I just beat the game, and am running around in free play. Nothing is coming back, still. Its just worse. Everywhere is deserted. Nothing is coming back. What can I do to fix this? This is bad. The Bar has like 11 people in it, and they don't go anywhere. Aside for that everyone and thing is dead.
This is *****ing me off. The mod is SO good, but nothing comes back!!! Respond!
Hello all this mod is looking great theres just one thing i dont like and that is the edited out mutants being in the game, is there anyway to remove them?
I think I should re-consider playing this mod after what you guys said....
if you completed it, and want a different game, with new possibilites and story, check priboi story too. its not yet uploaded here, since we will add some new features to it first, and we will re-release it, so wait a few days, and i will be back with more info.
also we made a big misstake, we exchanged the mods, and this came to the total conversion thread insted of priboi story. well now it does not matter...

@ Insert_Name_Here: You MUST get indoors as soon as you start to notice the little flashes, they mean the blowout is starting. It's in the Readme file I believe.
Now on to my question...
What is with the double vision, and look of radiation when I get near the cave in Cordon? You know, the one where I get the perfected suit for the guy I save with Wolf's team? The blurred vision is actually KILLING me because I can't shoot anything until it's on top of me. The blurred vision with a pistol makes playing useless. THEN, on my way back to Cordon after X-18, I'm obviously coming into Cordon at the same spot. The blurred vision doesn't go away, I've taken anti-rads, Vodka until I nearly fall over, had the suit repaired, used artifacts.. NOTHING is getting rid of this. I know it's not something to do with my video as the PDA, trading window, etc are all perfect.
This would be a decent mod if it wasn't for that issue. I like the sharper sounds of the weapons, and the fact that a bandit can't spot me, then shoot me between the eyes with a pistol in complete darkness from a 500 feet.
I did notice though that sleep is off a bit. I chose to sleep for 3 hours at about 2100, and awoke starving at 8am.... Little more than 3 hours.... Not sure if that happens to everyone or not, but makes me not want to use the sleeping bag, as 3 hours varies, and I usually wake up dead. What's with that anyways? Do real people continue to sleep if they are so hungry they ready to die???? I know that's built in to the vanilla game, not something you did, but would be nice to have it set up so that as long as I have some food in my bag, I won't starve in my sleep.
Anyways, a way to fix that blur issue would be nice.
P.S. I've tried both ABC, and your mod, they're both good, so why are you guys fighting, snarling at each other, insulting the mods on each others threads and all? It's not too professional.
