This package contains the following mods.
Oblivion Lost v2.2
Weather Overhauled v2.2.2 and it's addons
-S.H.A.R.P.E.R. Textures
-Sky4CE v1.78
NOTE: Oblivion Lost will not run on it's own, some files were removed because of conflict issues that have to be readded using Weather Overhaul.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS READ CAREFULLY:
_________________________________________
1. Launch OLWO.exe and select Custom. YOU MUST SELECT CUSTOM.
2. Pick the location where S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl is installed. By default it is set to your default windows installed path. C:
3. Select the options you wish to install.
Weather Overhauled has 2 lightings. Full Dynamic and Static. ONLY PICK ONE!
Furthermore you must select the type of Night setting you want. Normal, Bright or Darker. ONLY PICK ONE!
After that is done you can choose you to install a custom User.ltx. This file will install to your Program FilesTHQS.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl directory and must be manually moved to Documents and SettingsAll UsersDocumentsSTALKER-SHOC.
4. Sky4CE Graphics Mod has several options. Only pick one. There is currently a version 2.0 of Sky4CE which if you have then you can just leave this option off all together.
5. S.H.A.R.P.E.R. Textures v0.95 RECUT. This mod increases the resolution of most of the base STALKER textures and adds sharpening to them. With Sky4CE it looks pretty good but the parallax can be much for some people as it tends to get a little extreme at times. Overall it looks good when in motion. | |

I may include that in my next package. Also adding in some of my own little details.
"NOTE: Oblivion Lost will not run on it's own, some files were removed because of conflict issues that have to be readded using Weather Overhaul."
Why did not you ask me? It should have been better... I don't think it's hard to merge 2 weather ltx
It was more of an issue with the installer. For some reason I couldn't get the installer to overwrite the weather configs by itself so I removed the weather from OL2.2 and just included all the files in the OL2.2 Compatibility patch.
In fact, I think even without the weather config folder it should run on it's own, just no blowouts or any of the special events.
I forgot to include the latest version of Sky4CE in my setup. So for those who want to upgrade just grab it here http://depositfiles.com/files/5609370 and then just extract to your gamedata folder overwriting the previous version.
We want A.R.S.E.N.A.L!!! We want A.R.S.E.N.A.L!!!
Really, I hope you decide to add this in. Great compilation idea, man
Hi SomeGuest - I see that someone finally made a nice setup for OL and SWO - good job!
Anyway - could you pls drop me a mail (so that I have your adress) - I would like to talk with you about a few things (you can find my e-mail in my readme).
See you!
Excellent idea Stalker! I was wondering why wasn't WO featured in the latest version of OL...
Sharper textures are very nice, too. Looks like it's a great pack; thank you!
Yeah! This looks great! Please add A.R.S.E.N.A.L.!
The installation is a kinda confusing, if you want to install both WO and OL 2.2 (patch 05 btw), then in the options you must select "WO" (dynamic OR static lightning) AND "OL compatible patch" (same thing, either dynamic OR static lightning).
Also, the three nights options are selected by default though only ONE has to be.
I hope this'll spare you some crashy installations
Yes, whats confusing? Weather Overhauled comes in 2 different lighting styles. Full Dynamic for those with high end cards, and Static for those who don't want their machines to struggle. Just select the type of lighting you want to use. And then theres multiple night styles to pick from in each of those categories. This is how Weather Overhaul comes in the first place, you have to pick from multiple folders and add in the things you want. I just turned it into a setup for easier use.
Just tried it with version 2.0 of Sky4CE and it was not very good in extreme settings with everything maxed under Dynamic Lighting. There were weird cone effects when looking into tree shadows, and a band of light about 50m around your character. The band travels with you, so it is like a solar spotlight that travels along the ground. I reloaded with the standard 1.76 Shaders and they worked just fine. I would use them until 2.0 gets sorted out.
Cheers!
I get funky shadows all the time even with float32. I always thought it was a vanilla problem.
Yes, something needs to be done about Sky4CE; I don't want the game to look like my flashlight is set to "on" all day long...
Float32, at least the latest one, tends to conflict with the Weather Overhaul mod, I wouldn't use it. You could even use vanilla shaders and the WO would be beautiful.
As far as the mod's compatability with Sky4CE v2.0 goes, I can't run it properly due to my card, so I don't know. I think though, it would be very good if the author got it to work properly with WO. In the future, graphically, it'd be much nicer to come back to a game with good Parallax Mapping, SSAO mapping and Godrays, and working with the beauty of a graphical mod, the WO mod.
First let me say thanks for putting all this stuff in an easy to use installer.
Anyway, after installing your file I installed*****nal and the OL-Arsenal merger and it seems to have overwritten the weather files in your mod. Is there some way to merge everything and keep your weather files?
Dont know why it censored my last comment, I wrote a-r-s-e-n-a-l
Probably because OL-Arsenal includes Oblivion Lost so that would reset everything back to default weather from OL. You could try reinstalling this mod but only tick the Weather Overhauled categories and that should do it. Make sure you click the Oblivion Lost compatibility patch aswell.
Thanks I got it working. I figured out it was because the OL-Arsenal merger had its own weather folder. I ended up copying everything except that folder and it worked.
Glad you got it working. Also to those that feel the parallax in Sky4CE is a little extreme. You can change the height of the parallax by opening the SkyGRAPHICS_options.cfg in the shaders/r2 folder and changing this line.
#define PARALLAX_OFFSET float(0.008)
I changed mine to 0.008, not too extreme but just the right amount of parallax to add definition to the textures and still look amazing.
This compatible with oblivion lost 2.2?
@swede96 I'm sorry but did you even read the description?
Also I am working on a new version containing*****nal RC1. Oblivion*****nal Weather Overhauled. I'm in the midst of testing to make sure everything is working properly. I got a friend playing the entire campaign so he can report back issues. I will also be adding my own optional tweaks. I have reworked all the armor to actually have stats that refer to it's description. Also I have lowered the stats on the cheap armor and increased the stats on the expensive armor so now the expensive stuff is actually worth buying. All completely optional by the way but I find it to improve the experience since I found that a certain armor that you attain early in the game can be worn for the entire duration without having to upgrade again. Hardly any variety.
This is a great mod for Oblivion Lost, but sadly it is not compatible with the Particle Enhancement 3.0 mod. I have yet to determine which files conflict between the mods, so until I will have to do with out . Could you at least tell me which files conflict with weather overhaul so I can edit those files myself? Thank you.
It keeps giving me problems. I've installed and re-installed, yet everytime I ask for a mission it CTDs. This seems to be the only problem. Any ideas?
Could you pls post a crash report fort this ctd? It seems strange that it may be related to weather merge - but it's worth checking anyway
yeah as randir14 said,*****nal should work if you follow these steps
1. Install OL 2.2 gamedata folder
2. Delete the gamedata/config/weather folder from the*****nal mod
3. Install*****nal gamedata folder
4. Install OL +*****nal Merger gamedata folders.
5. Install Weather Overhaul (I had the OL 2.2 1.005 option at the top unchecked)
haven't ran into any problems so far, although i started a new game so im still only in Cordon. great mod.
gr8 mod 1st of all ty 4 it. and ty to randir14 and thepiespy 4 help on getting*****nal to work aswell but i keep getting ctds either cause of overwriting saves (although quicksaves seem ok) and ai spawns at army warehouses can any1 help?
thank in advance
