RealTime mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat..

I like exploring in this game, but it irritated me that I had to watch the clock all the time to see if it was the right time to go.
I.e. if it was like 20:00 I'd stay in and sleep till 6:00, then go out and by the time I'd get somewhere it was 9:30 allready...
looking around a bit and it's 15:00 then go back somewhere to go sleeping again...
With this mod you can get somewhere and do some exploring, some shooting, some looting and even a quest or 2 and then go back selling some shit...=)


Installation:

If you haven't allready:
Open fsgame.ltx in your game directory with notepad and change the line "$game_data$ = false| true|" to "$game_data$ = true| true|".
Then copy the gamedata map in your game directory.

Now your good to go...

Ingame, press esc (main menu) then F2 for RealTime 1:1...


If you want to return to 5:1 (game default) press esc and then F1..

Everytime you load a game it resets to default time.

The only thing is that in CoP everything (missions, bleeding, healthpacks etc.) is now time based....so turn it back to default when entering a fight or a mission, otherwise using i.e. a healthpack doesn't fully restore your health based on the realtime effect..

I only use it when exploring....I didn't think of that when I scripted it..

ohyeah didnt think of that neither. but if one should be able to tweak the prpoperties of say medics, foods and such to make it work pretty well..
would you mind if i used this in a mod im working on? naturally the credits would go to you smile
