This mod changes the stupid names of the stalker and bandits into more or less "sounds-like-russian"-names.

This mod is multilingual. It supports the following languages:

- english
- german
- french
- ... and so on.

Just unzip the Stalker-RuNam-Mod_v1.zip in your S.T.A.L.K.E.R. folder and it should work. If it will not work, please check your foldertree. It should looks like this:

What is the point of this mod again? The names are SUPPOSED to be abstract.

@FlyingBarMitzvah: In the german version of Stalker, the names aren't abstract - they are only just stupid. That was the reason, why I decided to do this mod.

Another thing:

If you start a new game, the mod works well and like it should. If you load an older saved game, the old names are still there. My assumption is, that this is because, the npcs are already there. Maybe the new names will come, when new npcs are spawning and the old npcs are dying. But I cannot promise that. For this, longer tests ingame should be necessarily...

I found a sleep totorial in there. I geuss you hoping for sleeping and vehicles to be reimplimented like me?

Good idea about changing names to more appropriate ones, but you messed up by using W instead of V. Kind of like, you don't see Luzhkov written as Luzhkow... It simply miss pronounces those names. Other then that, it's a great idea... smile

Any chance in helping me put back the original soldier rank names

Soldat = Private
Feldwebel = Sgt

There is something that needs changing:

The names sound very much like German names. Suppose you could make them english?
