We post a selection of music from the game for free download. Fourteen unique tracks will add to the musical collection of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. fans and will become a pleasant addition to the game disc.

The files are available in *ogg format with the quality of variable 160 kb/s.

The Official S.T.A.L.K.E.R. site has added up 16 tracks from the official S.T.A.L.K.E.R. SoundTrack for our downloading and listening pleasure.

Is there actualy any music in the game? I mean, I remember the girl singing on the loudspeaker, and the music durring the menu, but, other then that... ?

there's a lot of music, its there all the time, but it's so fantastic that You rather feel it than listen to it. Especially one at X16, when it gets stronger and stronger and cuts into dead silence.

Right, ok, now I'm on the same page. Though the only one I'm aware of is the one you're talking about, because it builds to the point where you expect to get rushed, and then nothing happens, very tense. Now, as for the other music, I'm not sure.

BTW VLC picked up the OGG format.

I love the song Dirge for the Planet, and the lyrics are so pretty.
That song so does go with the game.

Dirge for the Planet is the reason to download this package
Two other songs by Firelake are good as well, however rest is really just atmospheric music not really to listen outside the game
