Squishy NPCs for Clear Sky (1.0) - File Description  


Description:
This makes human NPCs in Clear Sky more vulnerable to damage. For example, NPCs in Shadow of Chernobyl take 1.0 damage if you shoot them in the arm. NPCs in Clear Sky would take 0.3 damage from an identical wound.

No more emptying entire magazines into guys wearing medium-level armor to get them to fall down.

Squishy NPCs for Clear Sky (1.0) - Readme  
Readme File:
All this does is make human NPCs in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky more vulnerable to damage.

For example, before they took 0.3 damage if you shot them in the arm, compared to Shadow of Chernobyl where they took 1.0 damage from an identical wound.

I always found it incredibly annoying in Clear Sky how you could empty an assault rifle magazine into a guy's stomach and he wouldn't fall, so I got my hands on this config file and went to work.


Installation:

Move the gamedata folder into your Clear Sky directory. If you're asked to overwrite anything, say yes.


IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST MOD DO THE FOLLOWING:


Open the fsgame.ltx file in your STALKER Clear Sky directory and find this line:

$game_data$ = false| true| $fs_root$| gamedata

Change the "false" to "true", so it looks like this:

$game_data$ = true| true| $fs_root$| gamedata

Posts: 16 		Very good mod, I always hated the Clear Sky NPC unrealistic resistance, this resistance makes the game very much harder than any other S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 10/10
